Wooden Clock for Desktop or Wall - Layered Organic Two Tone Design Walnut Brown and May Green

This extraordinary clock consists of six layers of birch plywood, which I made with a laser cutter. The layers are alternately stained walnut-brown and may-green, the soft contrast brings out the organic design to its fullest. No matter if you find the design futuristic, extraterrestrial or nature-loving, in any case it never gets boring to look at it and maybe get a little lost in it.

What is special about this clock is that you can remove the leg stand and simply mount the clock to the wall. For this purpose there is a small opening on the backside which is perfect for hanging it on a small nail or screw. When you want to put the clock back on your desk or shelf, simply plug the stand back in.

To get started, all you need is an AA battery, and you can easily adjust the time with a small gear wheel on the back of the clock. The quartz clockwork does its job accurately and reliably.

If you can't fall asleep to the noise of ticking clocks or simply find it annoying, I can reassure you, the movement is absolutely silent, the seconds hand turns evenly and silently. You can also remove the seconds hand if the movement should ever disturb your concentration.

To color the wood I use environmentally friendly, water-based stain, without toxic chemicals and odourless. The surface of the front is also treated with natural carnauba wax to repel moisture and dirt. Carnauba wax is the hardest naturally occurring wax and completely non-toxic.
The natural texture of the wood will always remain visible - making each product unique.

MEASUREMENTS:
The clock is about 8" tall, 4.9" wide and 0.8" thick (1.2" with hands) [20.5 cm tall, 12.5 cm wide and 2 cm thick (3 cm with hands)].
With the stand attached, it is approx. 7.7" high and 6.3" deep [19.5 cm high and 16 cm deep].
